Is an Ottawa-based tattoo artist and the co-owner of 3 Round Tattoo. He began his path in the tattoo industry back in 2010 on the East Coast, where he first immersed himself in the craft. After several years of honing his skills, experimenting with different techniques, and developing a personal artistic voice, he was offered a residency opportunity in Ottawa. What was originally meant to be a temporary move quickly turned into home; he has been rooted in the city and its tattoo community ever since.

Growing up, Oj was deeply influenced by comic books, the bold lines, dynamic poses, dramatic shading, and expressive storytelling. That early love of comics naturally shaped his foundation in an illustrative tattooing style. Over the years, working alongside a wide range of talented artists and in a variety of shop environments, he has broadened his skill set far beyond his beginnings. Today, Oj is versatile across numerous styles, including realism (both grey scale and colour), neo-traditional, American traditional, trash polka, geometric work, watercolour, and more. This adaptability allows him to tailor each piece to his clients’ visions while still bringing his own artistic identity to the table.

Having spent most of his career in walk-in-focused shops, Oj appreciates the spontaneity, energy, and sense of community that those environments foster. At 3 Round Tattoo, he aims to cultivate that same welcoming atmosphere—an easygoing space where anyone can drop in, feel comfortable, and talk tattoos with like-minded artists. His goal is to create a shop that blends professionalism with genuine camaraderie, a place where clients feel at home, can “shoot the shit,” and walk out with artwork they’re proud to wear.
