Is an Ottawa-born tattoo artist raised in the Centretown/Chinatown area. He knew he wanted to be an artist as early as grade five, and by sixteen he was already selling paintings and taking part in local art shows around the city. Those early years shaped his eye for bold shapes, strong contrast, and playful storytelling—traits that still show up in his tattooing today.

His work leans into traditional, tribal, cartoon, and anime-inspired tattoo designs, with a heavy dose of video games, movies, and all things dorky and nostalgic. Snake Boy believes tattoos can be anything from purely fun to deeply meaningful, and his goal is always the same: create a great experience and deliver clean, long-lasting work. He jokes that he’s “here for a good time, not a long time,” but his tattoos manage to accomplish both.
